Rena (Lapin) Baron 1982-2024
With a very heavy heart I write to share with you that my dear sister Rena Baron passed away on July 7. Rena greatly cherished her role as mother to her seven children who were her primary focus. She is deeply mourned by her husband Dr. Jonathan Baron, her beautiful children, parents Rabbi Daniel and Susan Lapin, six siblings, and many other family members and friends.
Our family just completed the traditional week long mourning period known as shiva. We now slowly begin to orient ourselves to a world without Rena's physical presence. As time goes on, I hope to share more with you about her and motherhood lessons I've learned from helping her and her family over the 3 1/2 years of her illness.
For anyone moved to make a charitable donation in her memory, Jewish Caring Network has consistently been there for Rena and her family, delivering help even before we knew what was needed.
May we all know comfort and merit the ultimate redemption speedily.
